Which sugar paste is right for me?
The right consistency depends on your technique, experience, room temperature and skin condition.
Ultra Soft is especially suitable for the non-woven strip technique, beginners and cooler rooms.
Soft is well suited to larger body areas and cool working conditions.
Medium is a versatile consistency for many applications and the manual technique.
Hard is suitable for warm rooms, warm hands, moist skin and coarser hair.
If you are unsure, we recommend a set with several consistencies.
Which sugar paste is suitable for beginners?
For beginners, a starter set is especially practical: you can try different consistencies and begin with the right accessories straight away.
Ultra Soft is especially suitable for the non-woven strip technique.
Medium is a good starting point for the manual technique.
This makes it easier to find the paste that suits your technique, skin and room temperature.
What is the difference between Ultra Soft, Soft, Medium and Hard?
The difference is in the firmness of the sugar paste.
Ultra Soft is very soft and ideal for the strip technique.
Soft is soft and well suited to larger areas.
Medium is balanced and versatile.
Hard is firmer and especially suitable for warm conditions, moist skin or coarser hair.
The warmer your hands, skin or room, the firmer the paste should be.
Why should I buy a set with several consistencies?
A set is ideal if you are not yet sure which consistency suits you best.
The right sugar paste depends not only on the body area, but also on room temperature, skin moisture, technique and experience.
With several consistencies, you can test them and choose the paste that is easiest for you to work with.
Can LaMalior sugar paste remove short hair?
Yes. LaMalior sugar paste can remove hair as short as approximately 1–2 mm when the technique is applied correctly and the skin is well prepared.
The skin should be clean, dry and free from oil or cream. Talc can help absorb excess moisture.
Why is LaMalior sugar paste made without citric acid?
LaMalior sugar paste is intentionally made without citric acid.
The simple formula contains only:
Fructose, Glucose, Aqua.
We do not use citric acid, fragrances or colourants.
Can I use LaMalior sugar paste at home?
Yes, LaMalior sugar paste can also be used at home.
The non-woven strip technique is particularly easy for beginners, and Ultra Soft is especially suitable for it. If you want to learn the manual technique, you can start with Medium.
We recommend that beginners treat small areas first and become familiar with the technique step by step.
What should I do if the sugar paste is too soft or too hard?
Which consistency is suitable for each body area?
Soft or Medium are often suitable for larger areas such as the legs or arms.
Medium or Hard are a good choice for the underarms, bikini area or coarser hair.
Ultra Soft is especially suitable for the non-woven strip technique.
